Our catering provider possesses all the required regulatory certifications and can offer specialty menus including Halaal and Cosher catering.
Our on-site cleaning sub-contractor provides only the best in hygiene services, ensuring that your attendees have a comfortable experience. Regular cleaning intervals are maintained at all times during events. Our cleaning packages can be included in your Venue rental agreement or sub-contracted to a provider of your choice.
The security and safety of attendees and staff is paramount. Rest assured that the JEC offers round-the-clock security, re-assuring our clients of their safety and protection of valuables. The Venue has a 24 hour security team on site that is complemented by outside security contractors during events. We ensure the safety of your visitors and delegates by securing the internal and outside perimeter including security in the parking areas surrounding the facility. During large events the JEC will facilitate arrangements with the SAPS and JMPD to ensure an on site presence and security as well as in the immediate areas outside the venue.

Event power can often be a stumbling block for organisers, due to the complex nature of this service the JEC employs expert distribution-board providers and ensures continuous support on-site throughout your event. Most of our facilities have generator backup for essential lighting and we engage with City Power ahead of all major events to pre-plan that there are no unforeseen outages during your event.
We work with numerous shuttle service companies that provide reliable transportation from your hotel to the venue and ensure your safe return. Should you wish to delegate this function to the JEC, we can facilitate the arrangements to ensure your delegates are collected from the airport and various accommodation facilities.
Don’t get caught up in a logistical nightmare, the JEC can arrange for flawless drayage services, recognising the complexities of this aspect of exhibiting, the venue uses preferred suppliers who are well experienced with the venue to offer a convenient drayage service.
The hosting of large events requires that certain compliance regulations be observed. The JEC will gladly assist with this process, from Certificates of Compliance (Electrical, gas, structural and fire-retardant draping), Event Approvals, Fire Rationale, VOC and Health and Safety certification, we have the expertise to ensure a safe and compliant environment for every type of event.
Our on-site medical centre is readily available and on 24 hour standby. Their quick response to any incidents throughout events and during build-up and break-down, is convenient and re-assuring. With the recent COVID pandemic additional measures have been implemented with a dedicated quarantine facility at our main gate should any visitor fail our security access screening.
Undoubtedly a one of a kind solution from the JEC. We are one of the only venues to offer a comprehensive Infrastructure service on site. Our on-site provider is one of the biggest Exhibition and Events infrastructure suppliers in Africa. With all warehousing and factories based on site we can provide carpet hire, shell scheme pacakges, custom stands, registration counters, marquees and snow peaks as well as a full graphic printing facility. This service includes free event layout designs and floorplans when making use of the rental services from this provider.
